Here’s What Our Clients Say About Us
“I have been going to CEO, as well as CCEC conferences now for almost 13 years - all told that equates to more than 3 dozen. In all those conferences, while there have been many great presentations by many capable presenters, I think yours on Friday last week must be the absolute best one that I have ever had; at least the single one (or more accurately set - as you presented on three topics, as I recall, that was the most useful to me professionally.) So, simply thank you. In summary, UD BEST! I think it was Mark Twain who said something like ‘the only things worth learning are those which you pick up after you know it all’; or some wording to that effect. I consider the things that we picked up last week to have been well worth learning in that context. My sincerest and deepest appreciation.”
John Dolbec, Chief Executive Officer, Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, Ontario, Canada
“I work with a variety of speakers, and Cathi was a delight – organized, detail-oriented and deadline-friendly. Better yet, she received great reviews from our attendees. One noted, ‘Cathi’s program actually allowed me to completely revisit how I perceive volunteer leadership and my own effectiveness.’ Cathi is that rare combination of a professional who is a breeze to work with and delivers thought-provoking content.”
Wendy W. Kavanagh, CAE, President, Georgia Society of Association Executives
“Thank you for bringing your membership expertise to the first-ever MAKO conference. In these challenging times, it’s important for us to be reminded of the basics of member service as we constantly seek the ‘new’ programs that will make a difference. You helped us focus on both.”
Tracey Osborne, President/CEO, Overland Park Chamber, Co-Chair for the MAKO (Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma) Conference
Cathleen worked with us in 2001 to conduct a Member Retention Study and develop a very comprehensive member survey to collect feedback. The survey helped us understand our members and what they value, and raised a greater awareness about the importance of member retention. The survey is the best retention tool we have and we still use it today.

Cathi Hight and I first started working together over 10 years ago when she was the VP of Operations for the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii. Since then I have repeatedly seen the results of her work with numerous organizations around the Continental U.S. in helping them successfully manage market changes. Her foresight in creating a tool that helps organizations retain more of its members is a natural progression in her consulting specialty because we all know recruiting new members and clients costs far more than keeping the ones we already have.
