Cathi Hight helps organizations of all sizes create “good change” and positive experiences for all customers.
She has more than 20 years experience in performance improvement. Using proven strategies, assessments, and intervention tools, Cathi helps clients identify their real problems and solve them. She has worked with a wide range of organizations from the association, education, finance, public, and technology sectors to navigate market changes, streamline operations, increase productivity, and develop staff and customer loyalty.
As former Sales and Marketing Manager for both Dole Foods and Dean Foods, VP of Operations for the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, and a Motorola University Instructor for cycle time reduction and benchmarking. Cathi specializes in analyzing complex problems, designing custom solutions, and helping teams use existing resources efficiently. From collecting feedback from customers and staff to identifying root performance issues and implementing cost-effective solutions, Cathi has become well known for helping people “work smarter, not harder.”
Cathi shares her expertise as an Institute for Organization Management instructor for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, corporate trainer and coach, keynote presenter, and author. She is the developer of the Member Retention Kit, a step-by-step guide for developing membership retention strategies and retention plans. Over 450 associations around the country currently use the Kit to improve their retention rates.
Cathi served as Vice President of Operations for the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii. She managed a professional staff who served 4,500 members and 18 associate chambers of commerce on all islands, and served as the Board liaison for 75 CEO’s of the top 250 companies in Hawaii. Cathi was also sales and marketing manager for both Dole Foods and Meadow Gold Dairy (a division of Dean Foods) and led her team to exceed over $72 million in annual sales.
Cathi serves as Immediate Past-President for the Boulder chapter (BAHRA) of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She is also a member of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE), the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). the Texas Society of Association Executives (TSAE) and the Austin Chamber.
Cathi donates her time to many non-profit associations and special interest groups. She resides in Austin, TX and is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She enjoys knitting, music, travel, and playing with her two cats, Inu and Sonny.
